I use these mugs for my grandson's milk and juice. They don't fall over basically nor do the lids come off lacking him grabbing them with his teeth and pulling. He has cultured the hard way not to do that, juice all over the front of his shirt. You don't have to agonize about bad plastics. They are splendid, and I can use them for my coffee as well.
