I was looking for a way to carry my morning cappuccino to work and didn't want to waste a paper cup every morning. The reviews on this Copco cup was really skilled so I decided to give it a try and got the Plum color.. Everything started out great. I was making my coffee, enjoying it on my way to work, if left, at work as water supply (I'm a slow drinker). I washed it and put it in my purse. Next morning I pocket the cup out, put my coffee in accurate the lid, pocket it to the car. As I'm drinking it I be inflicted including this horrible smell along including the coffee. I opened the lid and smelled the inside, sure enough the cup stinks so bad. I could not drink the rest of my coffee. I took it to work, emptied, washed nicely, dried out and closed the lid. I found this mug for much less at a local store - amazon has the brown ones for $6 but for other colors they are around $14. I got it for $6 elsewhere because brown isn't really my thing. I like that the mug is dishwasher safe, there is no plasticky smell, and the cup lid is comfortable to drink from.I only have one complaint, and that is that the air intake fissure (what allows the beverage to flow out when you're drinking) is in the center of the lid, rather than on the opposite side, and my nose seems to hit it when I'm drinking and block the flow. It's kind of annoying. Otherwise, the cup is well made and seems to be a good choice.
